• You don’t need to!  My style is less about posing and more about connection and comfort. I’ll gently guide you during the session, prompt movement or actions when needed, and make sure you’re as comfortable as possible.  There won’t be any stiff, awkward poses and I’ll check you’re happy if I ask you to move in a particular way.

    My aim is to make you feel so at ease that you can be yourselves and truly connect with each other. It’ll be a lovely little bubble.

  • Honestly, please don’t worry. Sessions with me are entirely child-led to make sure they’re happy and comfortable. I’ll never ask them to look at the camera and smile, they’re free to be exactly how they are on the day.

    Kids love me, and we’ll have a great time together, I’m yet to meet a child I didn’t win over!

  • Everybody’s different, some clients find it tricky to articulate their thoughts whereas others have a clear vision from the start.  Either way, I’m here to listen and we’ll take our time to talk it through.

    I have journal prompts available to help you get in touch with your ideas and draw out your thoughts, and I recommend using Pinterest for inspiration, I even set up shared Pinterest boards with some of my clients!

  • Whatever you want!  Wear what makes you feel like you, whether that’s flowy, rugged, silky or edgy.  I’d recommend matching your outfits with the location and vibe of your session if you can, and coordinating tones as a couple or a family for cohesive images.

  • There’s absolutely no obligation for your children’s faces to be shared by me.  I offer a Privacy Request for all sessions, which doesn’t affect your gallery in any way.  If you select a Privacy Request, I only use images showing the rear or side profile where their facial features aren’t visible, or I obscure their faces using cropping, blurring or any other appropriate method.

    I don’t use AI to edit any images so it can’t obtain the faces of your children during the editing process.  All images are hand-edited by me only.

  • Unless your vision is The Notebook (I’m absolutely up for that!), we’re likely to reschedule.  I’ll keep an eye on the weather forecast in the run up to the session and if it’s looking dodgy we can make a Plan B for an indoor location or reschedule the session.

    Light rain showers are do-able though, and if your kids love puddle splashing that’s an adorable session, so I’ll be guided by you!

  • It’s super straightforward. We’ll have a consultation (via questionnaire, or video call if you’d prefer one), and we’ll get a date and time pencilled in.  After that, I send your contract over and once that’s signed, the retainer is required which secures your booking! In the meantime we just chat to develop your bespoke session, and you just turn up on the day.

  • Absolutely!  Furry friends are always welcome, and I love them being part of your family.

  • I remove temporary blemishes, but I’ll never remove anything permanent that’s part of you, you’re beautiful exactly as you are!

    I remove distractions from some images like people in the background or man-made objects (no one wants a bin on their wall, do they).
